Education
Ms. Vicknair is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
Admissions and professional memberships
Ms. Vicknair is serving on the Texas Bar Foundation New Fellows Nominating Committee as Chair for District 11, 2011-2014.
She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1991. She was subsequently admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas in 2000. Her professional memberships include the Corpus Christi Bar Association, the Corpus Christi Young Lawyers Association and the Coastal Bend Women Lawyers Association. She is a former president for all three organizations. She is also a fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation and the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section.

Prior to establishing her private practice in 2005, Ms. Vicknair was a partner in the Appellate/Trial Section of Bracewell & Giuliani, L.L.P. and an associate in the Appellate Section of Chaves, Gonzales & Hoblit, LLP. She has also worked as a Nueces County prosecutor and as a briefing attorney for the 13th Court of Appeals.
