(KTLA) -- 2 Teens Killed, 3 Injured in Collision With Dump Truck in Cajon Pass - A vigil was held Wednesday night in Phelan for two teenagers who died when a dump truck carrying concrete lost control and pushed their car off a freeway and into an embankment in the Cajon Pass. The collision, which injured three others, occurred shortly before 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of the 15 and 138 freeways in Phelan, according to Tracy Martinez, a spokeswoman for the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

The incident was reported about 8 p.m. when a single car rolled over in the 12000 block of Harding Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
(CBS LA) -- 4 Hurt, 1 Critically, During Boating Accident Near Avalon - Officials say a man is critically injured and three others are in fair condition Sunday June 22nd after their small fishing boat ran into rocks at Santa Catalina Island. The crash occurred around 3 a.m., when a small boat hit rocks at Long Point, a lighthouse about halfway between Two Harbors and Avalon on the island's north shore, L.A. County fire dispatcher Ray Dong said.
(Los Angeles Times) -- Fallen Steel Beam Closes 405 Freeway at 605; 2 Workers Injured - A steel beam that fell at a construction site injured two workers on the 405 Freeway early Wednesday June 18th and forced the closure of all lanes in both directions near the 605 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said. The two workers were transported to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known, CHP officer Denise Quesada said.

The crash occurred at 10:42 a.m. after a driver of an orange Chevrolet Camaro smashed into a parked car, lost control and ran into a curb, then hit a bus bench, pulling it out of the sidewalk at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Parthenia Street, police said.
