Kansas Board of Law Examiners

The Kansas Board of Law Examiners consists of a ten-member Board of Kansas lawyers and judges. The Board oversees all matters relating to applications for admission, character and fitness, testing accommodations, temporary permits to practice, and legal intern permits.

Applications should be submitted to the Board at the address listed to the left. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Incomplete applications will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant.

Applications may be submitted by hand to Attorney Admissions between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding scheduled holidays). Applicants are encouraged to mail their completed applications to Attorney Admissions through a carrier which provides confirmation of receipt.
