need FHA lender who will accept a 500 fico score

major banks are putting minimums of 575 fico for loan submissions. I have several clients with low 500 scores. Can anyone help me?

is there anyone who can refer me to an AE that can work directly with me on my loan?

i have been extensively reviewing FHA loans and reviewed this site and was hoping someone could assist me.

Scenario: Credit is major issue (some recent lates on cc w/in last 12mo), Income is 6 figures and have money avail for downpayment.

I am in the process of rebuilding my credit in order to obtain financing "pre-approval" on a bank owned property that I want to bid on next month. I had credit score report from all three bureaus pulled last month and was in the low 500s. I have recently made payments to bring all revolving accounts current and to be paid off at the end of the March. I´ve also hired someone to help me repair my credit and to settle my collections account (pay in hopes for deletions). One of my creditors has agreed to remove all delinquent remarks to show a positive payment history which should boost my score significantly.

The loan brokering industry has changed significantly over the past few years.
One of the main changes is on their minimum credit score requirement on FHA VA Programs.
Many wholesale lenders are requiring a 620 minimum credit score.

I am interested in purchasing a home but my credit is TERRIBLE. I have been in the Arkansas Army National Guard for over 3 years and just recently started a management job with Domino's Pizza. I would like to purchase a home that is on the foreclosure list for 125,000. I have credit issues that I am working on. I have been at my current job (working as a federal employee GS-12) for 5 months but have been in the same field of work for over 7 years. My husband and I each have FICO score of 575. We were told by one mortgage company that if we had a 620 we would be approved for a loan of 110,000! HOWEVER--this is all I am trying to do....we are looking at a house that is 74,000 and we actually want to offer less due to some needs for updating and what not. I have about 12,000-14,000 in my 401k that I am going to put down so that would make the total loan amount we need approximately 55,000 to 60,000. the payment on this would be CHEAPER than our rent...

can't anyone help us? we need a larger place, our apartment is too small for us and our 2 children....

Question, I am a current homeowner in Virginia. I am trying to refinance my mortgage, but my credit is in the mid to high 500's. I want to refinance and pull cash out to pay off some debt. My fiance was laid off in February, but luckily found a job in September, finally!! We made it by using our credit cards and now are doing "damage control" and need to consolidate the debt and get everything caught up. Is there a company out there that will do this?? I am interested in purchasing a home using my VA loan eligibility in Georgia. I currently live in a home that I own and want to let me son and his family lease it from me and convert it to rental income. The new home would then be my new primary residence. Is this possible in todays VA lending market? I don't want to start the process if VA is not considering veterans that want to move to a new home and convert their old home to a rental. I am 62 years old and my primary income is Social Security ($1175), My Government Retirement Income ($520) and VA Service Connected Disability Benefits ($240). I also have another government retirement pension that will start at 65 years of age ($600/month). I never used my VA housing benefits. I already have a copy of my Certificate of Eligibility. Also, I have identified a property listed at $64,000 that I would like to make an offer on. My credit scores are: 566, 575, 577. The new prospective property is a bank foreclosure and the bank sellers require a loan preapproval from a direct endorsement VA lender. I would appreciate any information or suggestions you can provide.

Looking for a first time buyer loan

My husband and I are interested in purchasing the hone that we are currently renting. Due to the economy I lost my job in August of 2009 and have not been abel to find a job yet. I do collect unemployemtn for now but my husband is the sole bread winner now. We have some delequentcies on our credit since we have two car notes of 363.16 and 445, rent of 775, and tution of 305. Because of thease dequentcies both creidt scores took a hit. I am hoping that there are lenders that would be willing to lend to us so that we can purchase our first home if our fico score is 507 and 527.

Husband is commission only but nothing solid in past couple of years. Credit score of around 640.

I have steady income of about 4-5 k a month not including what my husband makes. My credit score is around 541. A lot of medical bills from about 3 years ago. Late payments on vehicles that have since been paid off. I was in nursing school full time twice in the past 5 years. Graduated twice. Debt to income ratio is about 20%-30%. Previously denied due to my credit score and his income.

Looking for a manual underwriter. My husband and I have lived in his parent's house (they moved to country) and have taken over payments. No late payments. Lived here for 7 years. Trying to get a mortgage loan 60k ...43 k is owed on house. House is worth 115-120k. We know it would get paid to his mom since she is the owner. His father is deceased. Have a revolving line of credit that should be paid off in a few months. Our recurrent debt is about $1300 a month only.

I live in Az. I am married in legal sense only. My spouse filed Chapter 7 and included my community property debts. SO we cant get divorced until statue of limitations on debts runs out. Because of this i have like 5 account showing charge off instead of included in bankruptcy. I have fought and fought and got nowhere with CRA and the creditors. I would like to purchase a short sale. List is 85k there was a offer unknown what it is. I am assuming its low as the house only went on the market 7 days before foreclosure. Fair Market is 95-100. I would like to get a second bid of 100k on the house but my fico is on the 500's. Any chance of getting financed? I could probably raise 15-20k for down but then wont have closing costs. Anyone know somebody that will do a loan like this?

Under 500 on Equifax, mid 500's on Ezperian and TransUnion. Not as stable job history in last 2 years. the businesses I was with had closed for business all together. I am also a Veteran of the US Army, and will be a Firsttime Homebuyer if I can get financing! Have a few judgements unpaid, collections, and late pays. I have aybe 2 accounts in decent standing: Personal Loan and a Vehicle I am currently paying on. Iam looking to get into a $65k home (short sale), assessed at $135k here in Richmond, VA. I am a state certified professional employed full time with the company I'm with for the past 3 years. I have a credit score around the mid-500's, and have an opportunity to buy the house we are living in and renting. This "opportunity" though, is a double edged sword because if we don't buy the house, we're out within a couple months, something that will be financially cumbersome. I currently pay around $900 a month for rent, and wish it were building equity instead of a hot-tub for my landlord. No car payment, and low overall expenses (all utilities included in the rent). Please, anybody currently specializing in first time home buyers with credit scores below 600, please get a hold of me or post back here.

Everyone with scores below 640 (or 620 very minimum) needs to find a good, knowledgable mortgage consultant to help you review your credit and determine what you can do to raise your middle score in the quickest fashion. If you have a 580 or above, it's not that difficult and can typically be accomplished in 3-6 months. Good luck to all of you!

I was in a nasty marriage and the divorce was messy. I was left in a pickle with my credit ruined. My score was so low that it didn't register as an actual score. Since that time I have been fixing my credit and now I want to purchase a newly built house. Eqfx 541, Trans 581, Exprn 566. I currently have $8,500 for down payment and will have at least $10,500 by the end of the month. Currently employed with the same company since 07/2007. I was recently granted my chapter 7 discharge on 2/14/11. Since, I have been repairing my credit and have had some things corrected, still disputing some, where in the end has raised my score a great amount. My Transunion PLUS score is 588, Equifax PLUS is 634, and Experian PLUS is 608. However, when I went to my Fico.com my transunion was only a 495, and Equifax was a 588 so I'm really confused. I want to purchase a home that is forclosed on at 114,900 and possibly less according to realtor if appraisal comes back for less. Good afternoon, I have a 510 credit score from a marriage gone bad. I have worked for the same employer for the last 27 years and make over $70,000 a year. I have a current vehicle loan and one current credit card. Is there any mortgage companies left that will consider working with me to get a mortgage? I am on SSD and my husband is also,he also recieves VA benefits,and pension from previous employer..I am on the deed to my parents home,so I don't know if that is considered my home,therefore not qualifying for first time homebuyer.Since the loss of my oldest son,my disease has gotten worse,and I need a home that I can get around in.Modifications to the home is out due to it being a older home,the weight bareing wall would need to be widdened to make the hallway wider,and also giving access to the bedrooms and bath...this house was not designed for handicapped friendly.I need to build a small home close to my family so they can help both my husband and myself.How or where might I look for this kind of info. or would you know this....Thanks..

I currently have a 535 credit score. It is bad due to lots of medical expenses from my wife and daughter. Due to this I am also unable to put the extra out needed to pay on my student loans. I am in a dilema though, my rental lease runs out it under 60 days and I need to move my family. My daughter is disabled and i need to keep her at the same school and there are no available rentals open for my family size due to we live in an etremely rural area. However I have found several low priced homes. The one that would be best for my family is $46000 and will be easy to modify for my daughters disability. Kepp in mind I do always pay my rent, utilities, phone/internet, cable, and cell without difficulties with my income. I just really need to find a banker that will give me a break.

Hello, I live in MI. Me and my husband would like to buy a home. We both have terrible credit. His is somewhere in the 500's. I don't even know where my score is but I know it is lower then his. His income falls somewhere around $50,000 a year and I recently started working full time and I make about $20,000 give or take a year. If there is any chance of us getting a loan? I am looking for a pre-qual for a mortgage. I make good money 68k and need a mortgage for around 220k. I have great rental history at $1060 a month for the past 3 years. The problem is a past divorce. My scores are 550 Equifax, 571 Experian and 656 Transunion. I worked hard to get them that high. I have a 571 fico score.

I have a home worth 175,000 in the New Albany school district with a primary mortgage balance of $79,000 and a loc for $31,000. Both have an on time payment history for the previous 18 months.

The tax valuation on the property was just recently increased to $161,000 from $147,000.

A recent sale across the street went for $183,000.

The loc is currently 3.5% with a three year excellent payment history.

I do not want cash out.

My goal is to lower the interest rate of 7% on the mortgage and to reduce my monthly payments.

Can I get a decent rate for a loan les than $100,000?

What can you do for me?

I am wanting to buy a house for my wife and kids. Is there ANYONE out there that can lend in Ohio that can help me? I make 40k/yr income and get $500/month child support. The home I am wanting to buy has been appraised at over 250k but was foreclosed on and is listed at 84,900. I have a very large family and this house is perfect for us. I have 3 possible 5% for a down with a middle score of 585.

We have never been late on a rent payment and have 3 landlords including the one we are renting from now that would HIGHLY recommend us. As is stands we are paying 1050/month and again NEVER late. We are slowing paying back debt which is 85% medical bills.

Our lease is almost up and they are wanting to sell. I cant stand the thought of having to move and rent again.

My medium credit score is 680. Bankruptcy chapter 7 discharge 2 years ago because of business. Current mortgage reporting 30 days late, everything else on credit report is perfect since bankrupty. I have good income, very low debt (only a small car note), and 10% down payment.

Lenders are saying no because of the 30 days late on mortgage. Can anyone help me? I need financing in North Carolina.

Need help in getting a cash-out refinance loan for a single family in Whiting Indiana. November 5, 2011 will complete the one year seasoning requirements for most lenders. The problem is since December 2010 my FICO score dropped from 720 to the low 500's. I acquired new credit cards and maxed them out to rehab the property. The properties approximate value is $97k to 105k and I have a current $9,000 mortgage balance. I am employed and spoke to a credit counselor in Merrillville IN. Please beware of scammers on this page. I scrolled down and saw at least 7. All of those posts on here asking for information such as country, duration, name..etc and stating that they will give loans regardless of credit, these are SCAMMERS!! They will ask for a security type deposit on the money that they are claiming they will lend you. After you send them the deposit or fees, you will not receive the money they're claiming to lend. Please do the research and save yourself money. If they can't provide you with their licensing information, it's a scam!!

My husband and I are looking for a home loan, we have 3 homes we are intrested in $199-$275. Our income to debt is very very low, BUT our credit scores are under 600, not sure what they are right now. 3 years ago both had over 700 scores, but husband lost his job, fell behind in bills, and scores dropped fast. He is back to work for a year now, I've been employed in the same filed for 20 years. Our income is $100,000 +/-. We have a small down payment, but would like to save that if possible. No bankruptcies, just late payments, and only 1 in last year. Homes are all located in area where market values are increasing, we live in the "oil-boom" area of Texas, towns are building, construction everywhere, so home prices increasing, and we want to get in before they go to high.We are looking for someone to give us that second chance, we are both hard workers, and have paid off homes/vehicles in the past, but of course the "good" stuff doesn't stay on your credit, only the bad seems to stay. 3 years ago I was offered a job to move from PA to FL making good money. Still own a house in PA and its been rented and on and off the market most the time the renters paying the mortgage and other bills. After 2.5 years and paying out 1450.00 a month just for rent in Fl we need to move due how expensive the living here is so expensive. My credit is around 503 poor due to alot of financial issues and not paying credit card bills on time. I make 2000.00 a month and my wife brings in 795.00 a mth from ssi disability. We found a mobile home community outside Harrisburg Pa is won't be our house due to we still have a renter there until April of 2012. I can purchase the mobile for about 10000.00 it needs some work but we can move right in. But with our credit so poor and no cash in savings or checking. My living is a pay check to pay check type of living, never have extra cash to even save. If we could purchase the place for 10k and get 5k for moving expenses we have 3 dogs to move as well and then 5k just to bank so a total of 20k is what we are needing. Is there anyone out there to help us out?

I purchased my home with cash this year..so have no mortgage payment. This was due to inheritance. We have a TERRIBLE credit score of 470..but we are looking for a home equity type loan of about $20000 to $25000. Keep your equity! Live below your means and use your extra cash to dig yourself out of credit card debt. Don't use your house like a piggy bank--that is exactly what got home owners into financial trouble, such as foreclosure.

Please learn from the mistakes of others and do not seek a cash out loan on your house. Protect your precious equity.

With a score in the bottom 2% in the nation, 470, you are not in a position to get a mortgage.

Our scores are in the low 500's. We had some issues in the past and are working to correct them to raise our score, however, our landlord has sold our house and we need to move asap. We do not want to change school districts for our children and there is not much for rentals. We have found a house that is only $47,000 It is liveable but will need cosmetic work at some point (husband is a contractor so this is not a problem) We would be able to put at least $3,000 down. I have a I a 593 Transunion credit score and a 604 with Equifax. Are there any lenders/undewritters who can do a home purchase loan with my score. One lender told me to pay off a debit from 2006 to boost my score, I have 1 revolving credit card with a 300 balance I will paying down to 30.00 in 2 weeks. I also have did a volunterary repo on a lemon I brough in 2008 that dealer wouldn't trade in so I told them to come get. I have a car from a pay here buy here lot that I have paid on time for 3 years and have one year to pay off but its not reported on my credit history. I make 40,000 a year and tired of renting. We are looking to purchase a home quickly as possibly and are first time home buyers. Bary and I worked very hard on our credit and had great scores keeping all creditors payed on time until everything with the economy and his job decided to move to mexico leaving us with falling behind on all our creditors which we were devastated because our credit was right on top where banks like a score. We at the time didnt know where to turn or how about to save our credit that we worked hard to where we got it so our scores now make us look like we dont care or pay our bills but we are going to get back up there again with a good score because we care what it looks like. Is there a lender or private loans out there willing to help us purchase a home and give us a chance to show you we are serious about our credit and doing whats right to fix it asap even if our score doesnt look like it now or Does anyone know where we could get down payment assistance even though we would have some down now but get more to help? Ever felt you were in a nightmare but you were still determined to keep moving beyond the obstacles placed in your way i have found God to be faithful regardless. In 2008 my credit and everything else seemed to spin out of control from loosing a job trying to complete school, loosng a car, being evicted, and on and on from that time until now God opened doors by giving me favoe here and there. I'm expecting it noow as well. He blesesed me with a beautiful wife and a son as well as our little girl on her way. We have completely outgrown our space and really need our own home. We will be first time home owners and would love eo be in our home by the summer. My scroe is well below 500 but not below 475. My wife score is around 620. We are working on a deposit but would love to qualify for a zero deposit. We are not looking to be in over our heads but we know what we can afford. Looking for a lender in or around the austin,round rock area. Please ask any other questions you feel nessacary to help determine our possiiblities. We would consider rural areas as well.

My husband and I are hardworking people. We dont have much of a credit, which hurt our scores. We were told to add a major credit card and a store credit card to raise his score. It dropped in one month from 587 to 527. Most of the items are paid off, we are miltary and do nt pay medical but its on there. So, yes we are or have paid it. We just cant seem to get the scores to move. We have paid for credit building help with no luck, we have been scammed by a private lender.

No bankrupties or court orders either. Pretty much all is paid off or items in dispute is being paid to clear report.

We have a house worth about $30,000 to be fixed up and used as a rental. I am on the verge of losing my dream home. Like I stated, we make enought to pay the bills, just need someone to take a chance on us in terms of a mortgage asap.

We are living with inlaws with kids. Need to move ASAP.

Interested to see if there are any brokers out there who can help. I want to purchase my first home. It is listed at $152k Located in a good Utah neighborhood. All it needs is new carpet, paint and junk removal. The market value of the home is over $200k My income is $55k. I've been employed at the same company for 5 years, and have 2 years of on time renter history at $950.00 per month, and an auto loan paid on time for 6 months. I have two options for a cosigner. One is a good friend with a 700 score who is a veteran, and is willing to be a co-borrower on a va loan or co-signer on another type. But he is in veterinary school for the next two years and has no income. The other is my mother. Her credit score is not far over 600 because of a divorce and bankruptcy that happened In 2005. She's had the same employer for 10 years and makes $35k/ year. I checked my credit today and my experian score is 500 equifax 470 transunion 480. I have two credit cards with $300 dollar limits that have been high for months. Today I just paid them down to 10 percent of credit limits. I have a judgement, and a few collections. I'm not sure what to pay to best improve my score.
With my friends high score/no income and my low score/good income, good rental history, and time at employer can I qualify?

My name is Niesha and my fiance's name is Nicholas our situation is not too hectic because its better now,u see me and my fiance fell on some hard times about 5 years ago do to me being a victim of a violent crime and because of the situation I was unable to work and racked up a lot of medical bills.However through it all my Nicholas kept us afloat on his own paying rent,medical bills etc kinda leaving his school loan to default and that's basically all he really has on his credit.Now the total amount of his school loan is just about 12,000 which is not a lot but its bringing his credit scores to 486,543,559 and they offered him a payment plan of just 50.00 a month but his ideal is to just let him take his taxes which I really don't agree with but I guess it would help bring it down.Other than that we don't owe any credit cards,both cars are paid for he's been on his job for 2 years and in the same line of work for 10 years making 31,400 a year with bonuses and a lot of overtime.Me I just got my job so that's why we probably would just use him.I think I've said everything possible to explain our situation I'm extremely unaware of the whole process I guess I just really wanted to know could we qualify for a home loan?

I have a middle score of 665. Chapter 7 bk discharged 3 years ago. Perfect credit for the last 18 months. 3 trade lines over 1 year with another 2 years old. Short sale settled 17 months ago which is where my problem arises with FHA. Because of the fact I was in default at the time of short sale. I make 96k a year and am w2 with same job for 7.5 years. also have very low dti since the only debt I have is 2 $15/mo credit cards and 2 car payments totaling $700. Can some one please help. Oh and have 5% to put down. Need a mortgage.

I am looking for a Lender that can help me purchase a home. The home is priced at 169,900. I am a Network Technician and I have worked on my job for 6 years. My salary is $48,000 with $14,000 additional income (child support, and yes I can prove it.) I have a middle score of 500 and I am working to pay off my loans. The biggest factor on my score is Student Loans. I have been in the rehab program for one year now. Because of the technical difficulties with the Department of Education, they are unable to pull my loans from the collection agency. I have SIX loans that are showing CA and I cannot do anything about it. Once this is removed I am sure my score will rise 60 points or more. Okay, so I'm going to attempt to make a long story short.

My wife and I moved to TX three years ago from Arkansas in order to be closer to my daughter. When I moved here I immediately began personal training and making money, but my wife was out of work for several months. She found a position working for one of my clients as the staff accountant and pursuing her CPA. She's been there for 2 yrs+. In the duration she was out of work we had to defer payments and be late on others, leaving us with a damaged credit history of late payments here and there .

Since then we opened my private personal training studio 18 months ago, she has been working at her place of employment for 2+ years. We have begun repairing our credit somewhat, but still not good.

My Credit: 565
Wife's Credit: 535

My wife's annual gross $55k.

My 2 years tax returns show low profit when comparing income VS cost, in consideration of running the business for the past 2+ years.

We have been renting a duplex here for 16 months straight, with a steady/flawless rental history. Management paperwork demonstrates we paid on time every month and are perfect tenants. Current rent for the duplex is $750/month.

The reason I show this is to demonstrate our ability to pay a mortgage for the amount we are looking to finance. The ranges we are looking at is: preferably $70k ; Max $75k.

We are both 1st time home buyers. Our intentions are to start off smaller and get an undervalued "fixer upper" with intentions to fix over time. We have found numerous houses in the area that match our criteria perfectly.

We are both college educated, responsible, business professionals and owners. We, just like everyone else in America - fell on some hard times when we made the decision that my daughter deserved to have us living closer to her (she lives with her mother).

We have spoken with a few firms of whom were referred to us by a Realtor friend of mine, but each of the firms we spoke with (never filled out anything with any of them) were more concerned with selling me a $500 credit repair package, RATHER than helping us with achieving the task at hand - getting the loan.

My credit score is not able to be used towards an application (which also means my income doesn't get used or considered either). My husband's credit score is just about 600. We currently own a home, and are looking to rent it out in the next month. We are interested in purchasing another home for our growing family. We have an FHA loan with a balance of $100K with excellent payment history. My husband has owned the home for almost 9 years and never late.

We pulled our credit reports and our scores sit at 516 and 641. Any info or help to try and get pre-approved for another loan would be greatly apprecaited!

My husband filed bankruptcy Chapter 7 2yrs ago due to loss of his executive job. He was unemployed for almost a year. We shortsaled two investment properties along with our primary home in 2008 and 2009.

For 25 yrs he had excellent credit. He kept me from the bankruptcy so my credit is intact in the 700's but I am a full-time mom and have not worked since 2002.

He is a retired National Guard Reserve officer of 15 yrs and though it took a year and less pay, he found and accepted another job and has been employed now as a senior exec for about two years. His last credit score was in low 600's but with income of $200k+.

The BK discharge's 2yr anniversary date will be this April 2012 and we want to prequalify for a loan. We want to buy a home by August 2012 rather than continue renting.

1. Do we qualify for VA loan? Do we qualify for FHA loan? We want to purchase in the Ventura County area/Thousand Oaks/etc. for kids' schools and to be close to his job.
2. If so, we prefer the VA loan for a zero down as we are still rebuilding and essentially paying tons of taxes back for the 401k we took out to live on and the phantom income taxes on the two investment properties we had to shortsale.
3. We have had no late payments since with the only late being the final two months or so in our primary home as advised us by our agent in order to accelerate the shortsale with the banks in 2009.
4. Since this area is fairly expensive we are looking to buy a foreclosed or shortsale listed home. What is max loan limit for this area?

She has several collections that are 3 years or older that were recently updated on her report due to a challenge. I had my credit run May 6th and found my median FICO score to be 528. I found a house in my neighborhood that I love and could live there indefinitely. It is 156k. I have a 401k that I can use for down payment of 10-15% depending how much I am taxed and penalized.

I am currently in a chap 13 bankruptcy (2yrs). My husband is not. I kept out house out of bankruptcy. I was forced into bankruptcy in 2010 because of immigration issues, not because we live above our means. I currently have a 16% interest rate with nothing escrowed. Our credit scores are about 560 to 580. Maybe. We have about 90K equity in our home and owe about 58K. I would like to refinance our home and borrow about 16K to 20K to redo our kitchen and put a new roof on the house. I have one burner on the stove and the plumbing is 1950s model plumbing with all of the cut off valved cut off the lines. The faucets are in the walls as are the controls to the drop in stove. My main concern is to get rid of this 16% interest rate. Can you help us?

This is a very difficult letter for me to write but I have approached this at so many angles and I keep running into the same problems so I hope you can take the time to read my story and know that Im not just asking just because.
First off I want to introduce myself, my name is Raymond, I am married to a wonderful woman stay at home home Kerstin and have two kids. My son 10 years and daughter 3 years old. I joined the Active Army 2004 and my first and only duty station up to this point plus another 1 year is Overseas in Grafenwoehr Germany. I am a Staff Sergeant, 13F, Fire Support Specialist. Deployed twice to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. I am originally from Lisbon, Maine. Now I know you really dont want to hear too much about me so Ill get straight to the point.
I desperately need finance assistance. Im sure you get thousands of spam or people writing weekly asking but this is not. Me and my wife have been trying to make ends meet for the past 4 years but for some reason can never find the other end of the rope. At first it was ok; we were getting along fine as any other normal military family would in todays society. But then came the whole recession in the states, I was calling home checking on family every so often. But every time I called it was always the same issues, problem making car payments, mortgage, utilities, gas etc I was feeling bad as usual knowing I have a decent job in the military with a steady paycheck so I would always offer for help. Before I knew it after taking out small payday loans, unsecured loans I was falling short for my family. I did stop sending money back home eventually and put us back on a tight budget. This was working but of course all the little unexpected things that come up you would usually use your savings for that I had already loaned (gave out to family) was gone Id find myself taking out more small loans. Bills started to rack up heavily on my wife and my shoulders. The people you can go to for help usually is family but I was definitely not going to ask and have them feel bad because they dont have the money when I needed it.
My wife was already getting on me after the first few times wiring money home. Once we started getting behind our bills we were always fighting about little things too. Of course I understood from her point of view, but then again its family. So we tried getting back on track by consolidating all our bills. This helped for a bit. Even though the payments every month was lower it was still pretty high but ok for us. Then came issues with our car, anyone who has ever lived in Europe will tell you, you need an excellent running car especially with a family to be safe on the Autobahn. We had already put a lot of money fixing it up when it needed and just couldnt do it anymore so I made the best decision for the family; I bought a new car in 2010, Dodge Journey SXT. There was twice that after we bought the car I received assistance from Army Emergency Relief with a no interest loan, which I definitely didnt want too, but had too.
This is why I and my wife are always stressed out all the time, with me always training, military schools, leaving for 12-15 month deployments we never have money to do stuff as a family and always just sit at home. I want to be able to take my kids to the zoo, or park even out to eat just so they have good memories of the time we get to spend together. They barely know family back home in Maine because we have only flown home once in 5 years, but thats only because I took a loan out for tickets. They should still be close to nana and grampy even though we live thousands of miles away.
What really hurt us the most was last year. I was deployed to Afghanistan in June, in December I got a call from my Sergeant Major telling me my wife was involved in a head on collision on the highway and I needed to come home. I wont get into details with her injuries but she was hospitalized until March this year, and still recovering. So sticking with our budget while I was deployed started to work. But while she was hospitalized we needed another vehicle. I decided to go with a used car but fairly new, I bought a 2007 Hyundai Accent for $10,000.00. I used it every day back and forth to the hospital for the 3 months she was there, great car so I thought. When Kerstin, my wife was released changed that and I understood her totally. After what happen with her, when we had a SUV from what the Polzie said saved her life she would not even step foot in the car. I had to call someone to come pick her up with me; thankfully my buddy had a truck. She did not feel comfortable at all in a smaller car at that point. For the first few weeks she did not leave the house because of this. If any husband knows they will always try to make their wife happy so I searched and looked everywhere for someone to trade cause I could not afford to buy another car. Finally I found a dealer off post that would sell me a vehicle, 2008 Saturn Vue, as the other interest sky high, so after knowing that I looked everywhere for a buyer to sell the accent. It took a week but I did, I went directly over to the dealership that same day and signed the papers and loan agreement for the other car. The next morning driving the accent on Post to the buyers house, the PX Shuttle bus hit the tail end of the car putting $3800.00 damage to the vehicle and of course the buyer now doesnt want it and I cant sell it for what I need which is why its still sitting in my garage until its fixed. I am still waiting for military claims to pay me for the damages 5 months later. Now I have 2 car payments I cant even afford, also which I did not mention the Dodge was just 2 years old so still a lot to pay off. At one point I needed to refinance to have a few extra dollars and to lower my payment a year prior, well my Credit Union never rolled over the GAP insurance onto my new loan which I thought they did so when the car wreck happened I still had $4,500.00 to pay off the Dodge. Two months ago we received a letter from the German courts stating my wife was fined $3,900.00 Euros which is about $5,100.00 and if not payed within 6 months my wife could go to jail because that falls under the German law. Thing about it is, news, Polzie, Military Police all say it was caused by oil on the road mixed with snow and slush, it was a no Fault accident.
I tried to be as detailed as possible but keep it short. As you can see I cant catch a break from anything, no matter what I try. All possibilities and options I have are gone, I have tried everything. Banks wont help me, Ive taken 3 Financial classes to get back on track, used Army Emergency Relief (AER), cant go to family and my only option is Bankruptcy. All this has affected my home, family readiness, and my career. Im in a position right now that I could lose my job in the military because credit effects my security clearance which I need and without it Im no good to the army, especially with the big downsize they are looking for candidates like me to kick out.
I have done nothing but serve my country for 8 years, 3 ½ which I was deployed and not including all the time I spend in the field training. I love being in the service and fighting for my country but now I just cant take any more on my shoulders, Im sick of talking to counselors cause my stress level at work is so high and just need some relief from everything before my world/family falls apart. I am supposed to leave Germany by February next year if not kicked out by then and when I do I lose a lot of money I get from COLA, its compensation for the Euro to Dollar ratio which helps out a lot.
This brings me to the reason for my letter. Although we have received some help from AER and although I have worked hard to bring costs down by talking with my creditors and insurance companies etc it is not enough. As much as I hate to ask for help, I am desperate for some assistance financially. Below is everything I explained and any help at all would go such a long way toward helping my family, even if it were a loan from you I could set an allotment to pay each month back for the next 12 years I want to stay in the service. As I get promoted to SFC, 1SG, SGM, and family starts to pay me back I could up my payments. Like I said, I would not approach you but I've tried many other options and this is my last resort before Bankruptcy. So here it is flat out:
$11,900 left from loan to help family, $2,300 left from small loans consolidated taken out over the years for misc things at home, $9,300 from Accent, $17,800 from Saturn, $4,300 from the Dodge I dont have that was totaled, and $2,600 Euros left to pay the courts. I am behind on other bills now because as you see I am paying off from the court. I am in debt $51,300 which is probably a little more or less depending on the exchange rate in Germany.
I would be more than happy to send you proof of all this show you its not a joke, along with my military orders and anything you need for supporting documents. You have my word that however you can help I will ensure I pay every cent back on time and give you status of how things are going for me and my family. I know this is not much in return for your consideration but I hope this story will give you pause regardless.

There are no upfront fees and they will wire the fees that you pay to someone in Nigeria via Western Union. But beware, after Xuan emails you to withdraw the money on the day it's wired, the "investor" makes an immediate withdraw before it clears the bank. The money is available in the bank for you to withdraw the same day it's wired. After it was wired, I withdrew it from the bank then the "investor" immediately took the money from the wire so now I owe the bank the money I withdrew and sent Western Union. I was stupid and cancelled all my cards and info I gave the company. Please do not fall prey to these guys. I believed every word they said and fell in their trap. Hi my names Joshua and I'm looking to buy my first home my credit is 535 according to credit karma, and the biggest item on it is a medical bill from when I was assaulted 6 years ago, it was turned over to collections before I could handle it but goes off this same time next year. Hi everyone here. What Mrs Camacho said is very true though i may not know her. I experienced it first hand also.
